THE MAN BEHIND THE BRAND

Chad Little was born on April 6, 1973 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.Chad started realizing how creative he was from a very young age. He always had a great imagination, always making up songs and names. Chad has and has always had a very motivated spirit about him. His older brother worked at a boot repair shop in 1989 and Chad being 16 at the time decided to tag along with him. He swept the floors and what not until they quickly decided to take the broom out of his hands and gave him a hammer. He started learning how to repair boots and by the time he was in his first year of college which was in 1992 Chad made his first pair of custom boots. He went to college and stayed in and out of the trade and in 1998 he got hired on as a boot repair man at a local store in his home town. In 1999 Chad bought his first shop called Little Bros. Boot Company in Sallisaw, Oklahoma where he started out with just repairs and then quickly started making custom boots. Chad really didn’t set out to be a boot maker or for that matter even want to be a boot maker he just fell into it. He has a great set of hands and you can see that in every pair of boots he has ever made. Chad has been in the trade now for about 20 years and still going strong. Chad has been happily married to Kelly Holman of Sallisaw, Ok since 2000 and now is the proud father of 3 gorgeous little girls. Aubrey, Delaney and Finley.

FOR THE LOVE OF MUSIC

Chad has had a love for music ever since he was a kid. Writing music comes as easy to Chad as talking comes to us. He has an incredible voice and quickly realized that he wanted to share that. Chad played guitar, sang and wrote in a band called 71 south they played all around Fort Smith. The band played as a back up band to none other than Carrie Underwood. After they went their separate ways Chad packed up and moved his things to Nashville where he started to pursue music more. Chad went all around Nashville singing in local places and 1997 moved back to his home. He sang off and on for awhile and in 2006 him and a fellow friend started the band Encounter and later changed their name to Co3. Co3 played all around the United States. After cutting records and getting two top 20 hits the band decided to call it quits in 2008. After that is when Chad got back into boots and designing.

Chad says that Ethos Custom Brands is a convergence of ideas. It’s a convergence of a brand. Even though he feels like it is just starting out he has been doing this for a long time. It wraps up all of Chad’s music creativity as well as boot making and fashion. From the Jeans Chad wears and designs to the cuffs he has on his arm to everything he does it’s a lifestyle. In other words when you step into our jeans or our boots Chad wants you to feel like you’ve stepped into a culture. It’s unique. A lot of people say to be good at something you need to have 10,000 hours put into it, well Chad has well over. He is amazing at what he does. He creates like you’ve never seen anyone create before and the world needs to know. Yes Chad is a designer but it goes beyond that. He wanted to build something on Earth as it is in Heaven. It all starts with the heart and the love for people. Chad is dedicated and he strives for excellence. He will not stop until he reaches the top. Ethos stands for the essence of your being.
